+ How do I use Curzon Home Cinema?

+ I CAN'T REMEMBER MY PASSWORD, WHAT DO I DO?

If you have forgotten your password, can’t login to your account, or if you have any other query regarding password/registration details we recommend you follow these steps: try to Reset It, Contact Us, or just start a Website Live Chat with one of our members and we will endeavour to further assist you. + Can I enable subtitles or closed captions?

English subtitles come as standard for all non-English language films and also for any non-English speaking segments within a film. The subtitles are part of the film itself so they will show automatically, it is not possible to turn them off. It is stated on each film page if English subtitles are available.

Unfortunately Closed Captions (also known as a form of subtitling) are not yet available for English language films or for the English speaking segments in foreign language films. Curzon Home Cinema is fully in line with current Ofcom regulations. We hope to be able to provide additional access services functionality in the near future.

+ Are films in HD?

Yes, all new films are in 1080 HD format. If your internet connection speed is a little low or your internet provider capacity is running high at the time of watching your rental film, the film resolution will automatically accordingly adjust. As our catalogue is made up of many great classic films, it's not always possible to provide these older films in HD format.

+ I'm having issues paying for my film. What should I do?

+ How do I get membership discounts?

Please note by registering to Curzon Home Cinema you are NOT a member of Curzon Cinemas. The email address used to register for Curzon Home Cinema is your username and account ID, unique to the Curzon Home Cinema website and TV apps. The Curzon Cinemas membership scheme is entirely optional, it gives you 15% off rentals as well as benefits in our physical locations. If you are a Curzon cinemas member and want to watch films at home via Amazon FireTV, in order to receive your discount on rentals you will need to first rent the film on our website and then login to the app on your FireTV device where the film will show up instantly in your My Films section.

+ Which web browsers can I use to watch Curzon Home Cinema?

In order to watch films and trailers on Curzon Home Cinema, your device will need to comply with the following minimum system requirements:

• Internet Explorer 11 and Windows 8.1

• Edge and Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10

• Safari (from version 9.1 onwards) on Mac OS X 10.11 and above (El Capitan)

• Mozilla Firefox (version 47 onwards)

• Google Chrome (version 35 onwards)

+ WHY DOES THE FILM KEEP BUFFERING?

We recommend a sustained broadband internet connection of at least 2Mbps. You can test your speed Here. + Why can I hear the audio but can't see the film on my computer?

This may be because your computer is connected to a second screen, monitor or device via an unsupported connection method.

If you are trying to connect your computer to another screen or device by using a VGA connection please try either disconnecting this cable or opening up the film in Chrome or Firefox browser. This type of connection will not work using Safari. This is what a VGA connection looks like Click Here.

+ On Which platforms can i watch the Curzon Home Cinema app?

+ Where do I find the Curzon Home Cinema app on those platforms?

+ Do you have an Apple/Android app?

Our Apple and Android app is called Curzon Player. Look out for the orange Curzon Home Cinema logo in Apple app store and Google Play. You can find out more in the Apple and Android area in Devices & Platforms.

In October 2016 we launched the Curzon Player app for Apple TV on 4th generation boxes, for more information see the Apple TV area in Devices & Platforms.

+ How do I update my app?

Most devices/platforms will have the automatic update option on. If it is not the case and you need further assistance, please refer to our Devices & Platforms section.

+ How do I pay for a film?

Customers purchase films with a one off credit / debit card payment - no subscription fees. For more information on how to pay for your rental please see Payment Options section.
